Each week I take a little time to read important articles like this and watch informative videos like this. I appreciate the authors and the investigators who provide this information greatly because I do not have the energy to dive into the deep abyss of all the functions (or lack therof) in our worldwide systems.
I do however have the energy to seek out the beauty and abundance all around us, and to remind myself that there is hope. Change is on the horizon, and I do not want to be a part of a chess game where I have one pawn against an entire army of forces that were developed before I was born. The best avenue I can see, is to remove myself slowly but surely from the game. We have an opportunity to co-create a better world, and it will take the conscious actions of each one of us.
You may have heard of a paradigm shift, a change in the way we perceive and act as a society. For everyone who still feels stuck in a whirlpool of the same ol’ same ol’. I encourage you to get out into the natural world and find inspiration in its splendor. When the economic system collapses, those who have embraced a community focused sustainable life will have an easier time adjusting. There is power in how you spend your money, which is actually our energy(work hours). It benefits you and everyone around you when you trade that energy within your neighborhood or town, generating growth and building strength.
My days are mostly filled with organic farming for Ancient Valley Growers, and filming for Manadina Farm and their Farm to Table Cafe being built from the soil up. Still, I have to make time to return to source. Listening to the ocean waves crash on the southern cliffs of lava rock, trekking through Volcano National Park, and seeking even the tiniest of critters to enjoy.
Finding your inspiration is important, it not only keeps you motivated, it also assists in aligning you with your purpose and place in this life. Stay informed, but also keep your spirit nourished and your outlook toward growth and evolution. Wherever you find yourself on your journey, be there to the fullest.
